The double bed was very comfortable and there was a plentiful supply of logs for the wood burner. The breakfast baskets were delicious and filled us up nicely for the day ahead. We had a fantastic time switching off from our chaotic lifestyle; relaxing to admire views and recharge batteries. Everywhere was immaculately clean and guests have private use of a hot tub and fire pit to toast the marshmallows provided. Carol recommended a visit to Hamsterley Forest which didn’t disappoint, plus a delicious meal at the local Italian restaurant. The whole experience was amazing and it was such a nice peaceful get away! Honestly cannot recommend enough and encourage everyone to book in to experience this for themselves.
